Surprise for ME

The best husband in the whole wide world bought me something so totally awesome my heart still does flutters when I think about it.  It's something that is both practical and stylish.  Comfortable and rimmed in lime.  It offers both relaxation and exercise.  Basically, it's the best bike ever!  His gift included a dual trailer for Zoey and Dylan and an Adams trail-a-bike for Summer.  We can all ride together now.  BEST!

Seriously, I wouldn't have chosen hot pink, but it's pretty fabulous nevertheless.

Why yes, I am thrilled about my Townie.

Zoey and Dyl try out the seating for the first time.

Getting ready to go!

Art Time

Fourth of July

Saveia puts up the 4th of July banners.  She really did almost all of it herself with some streamers and a bottle of Elmer's glue.

More Quotable

Dylan: We go'n' move to new house.
Daddy:  Nope Dylan.  This is it.  We're gonna die here.
Dylan (panicked and confused):  We're go'n' die here?!
Mommy (intervening):  We're going to live here for a long time.  When you grow up, you'll move to a new house.  With your wife.  And you'll bring your kids over to our house to play here.
Daddy:  Do you like that Dylan?
Dylan:  Mmmhmm. (smiles his crinkly face smile.)
Mommy: Who will you marry when you grow up?
Dylan, thinks for a moment:  I think I will marry a princess.  And I will be the prince.  (nodding contentedly) I will do that next time.

Quotable

With our church on Sunday, while singing "Holy Is the Lord" by Christ Tomlin, Dylan had to change the lyrics from "Everyone siiiiiinnnnnnnnnng..." to "Everyone be awesome and super!"
"Awesome" is his favorite adjective and watching the Incredibles has introduced "super" into his vocabulary.  He is our little Captain Awesome (yes, that is a tribute to "Chuck," all you fans).

Last night,
Dylan:  Mommy, can we get a Nemo fish?  And a Marlin fish? ...For eating?
Mommy:  You want to eat them?
Dylan: Yah.
Mommy:  No we can't.  We don't eat those kind of fish.
Dylan: (Disgusted and Confused) What kind we eat?

Vinegar and Baking Soda Volcano!

Well, we finally did it.  We made a volcano.  I don't have any pictures, and I'm not "allowed" to post the videos the kids made involving said volcano, but I think this one video will work as evidence of our accomplishment without incriminating anyone. ;)

Zoey Walking, Almost Finally

Today for the first time, she actually walked without me prompting her.  This is a video of the game we were playing tonight.  Of course, when I started recording her, she stopped walking all the way across the room, but this is a glimpse of her progress.
