Ogunquit Season-ending

Summer dwindling away,
so we thought to make it a beach-day.
Weather predicted to be in the 80s with clouds.
We hopped in the van with a small crowd.
Down we drove to Ogunquit,
to enjoy summer before it quits.
Zoey not too sure about her seat mate.

It's really okay Zoey.  Ben's a nice guy.  And Papa's got your back!

Dylan riding on his Tonka truck.

All sorts of Zoey poses.

Making a sand castle by the puddle.

Unfortunately there are no pictures of Nana, Mr. Charlie or Daddy, or our awesome time riding the current down the river, or of us catching some monstrous waves with our boogie boards.  Best boarding day all season!  I am thoroughly exhausted.
All packed up in the car and waiting to go!

Girls in the back with some silly faces.

Of course we couldn't leave our favorite beach without stopping at our favorite ice cream shack!  Owen's first stated life goal: Try every flavor at the Scoop Deck.
Thanks for the ice cream Mr. Charlie!!!

Zoey's like, "Are you forgetting someone?"  "No, there are rice cakes for you!" "Okay.  Sound good!"

"I got chocolate!"- Bear Claw to be exact.  One of Mommy's favorites.
Why can't we live at the beach and get giant scoops of ice cream every day? Why?
