A Little Lovey for the New Little One

My niece, Chloë Marie was born a few days before our scheduled trip to Oregon, so Olivia and I made some Birthday gifts for her.  I sewed an oversized swaddling blanket and with the scraps we decided we'd make a little bunny for her. 

It started out like this.  And we began to cut away.

Time to sew, then stuff the little guy.  Santa Patty has all the poly-fill you could ever want.

Olivia uses a chopstick to stuff the bunny.

Super Bunny.  The cape is made from an outgrown onesie.  And all wrapped up in the swaddling blanket, I think our little friend looks quite cozy.  I hope Chloe enjoys it!
